Class of 1964 marks 60 years
The Casey County High School Class of 1964 met at the cabin of Donald and Joy Wells Tarter in Dunnville on June 8. It was 60 years to the day of their graduation. On June 8, 1964, a Casey County class of 154 seniors received their diploma—at Liberty High School gymnasium. Casey County High School didn’t have a gymnasium at that time. It didn’t have many things, as it was a brand new school. A picture of the school in the yearbook shows a dirt parking lot and unfinished construction. A gym wouldn’t be built there another decade.
Johnson begins second stint as CHS head coach
Campbellsville High School has announced Amber Johnson as the next head coach of its volleyball program. Johnson has been a special education teacher for 11 years in Campbellsville Independent Schools. She has been a part of the volleyball program for five of those years.
