City Seeks Volunteers to Clear Pathways Near L.A. River

The city of Glendale is searching for volunteers to help remove invasive plants from the landscaped areas along the L.A. River on Saturday, June 10, from 8-11 a.m., at the Glendale Narrows Riverwalk, located at 300 Paula Ave.
Volunteers should bring water and wear sturdy shoes and protective clothing. Tools and gloves will be provided.
Families, individuals, clubs and students needing community service hours are welcome to sign up. In case of rain, this event will be cancelled.
The event is sponsored by the Community Services and Parks Department and the Glendale Parks and Open Space Foundation.
