In the early hours of Friday morning, tragedy struck a Lynwood 7-Eleven parking lot when a man working as an Uber driver was fatally shot by one of his passengers. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to the call at 1:33 a.m. and found the victim in the parking lot of the convenience store, located on the 2800 block of Imperial Highway west of State Street.
