Two Kentucky teenagers have been shot, one fatally, in the span of four-days.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the second of the two shootings at approximately 8:30 Tuesday night on Hwy 127 in Glencoe in Gallatin County.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found that a 17-year-old girl had been shot. The victim was initially transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence before being taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Police said the teen suffered non-life threatening injuries.

State police released no other details surrounding the incident. The investigation, though, continues.

On Saturday morning, a 14-year-old Rowan County teen was shot and killed at a Morehead residence.

Jaxon Cole Keller had just graduated from Rowan County Middle School.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office released scant details on Keller’s death, other than to say the teen was shot. The investigation is ongoing.
