Northeast Arkansas student wins congressional art competition
HIGHLAND, Ark. (KAIT) - A Northeast Arkansas student is heading to Washington D.C., where her artwork will hang in the nation’s capitol. In a first for Highland High School, Freshman Amara Miles’ art piece “Flowers for You” will hang in the United States Congressional Building in Washington D.C. after winning Congressman Rick Crawford’s competition.
