Shoplifting trio hit same CVS in N.J. multiple times, police say

Security images show three people wanted for allegedly stealing more than $3,000 worth of cosmetics from a CVS in Bergen County recently.

Police are looking for three people they say shoplifted thousands of dollars worth of cosmetics from the same CVS pharmacy in Bergen County twice this month.

The group allegedly stole $3,650 worth of makeup and related items from the store in the 100 block of Rock Road in Glen Rock on May 19 and again on May 24, according to police.

Store security video shows two women loading bags with cosmetics while a man watches out for employees on both occasions, according to Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann.

During the May 24 heist, the suspects left the store, unloaded the merchandise in their car and “returned five minutes later to fill up their bags a second time,” Ackermann said in an email.

The man returned to the store a third time that day and “actually used the bathroom before fleeing the store,” the chief said.

During the May 19 theft, the suspects drove a newer model white Chevrolet Camaro convertible, and a white Nissan Altima on May 24, Ackermann said.

The three appear to the same group wanted for a shoplifting in Wayne on March 14, Ackermann said.
