Glen Rock police are searching for a group of people accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of cosmetics from a CVS store.
Authorities say that they believe that this is the same group of people accused of shoplifting from a store in Wayne in March.
Police say that the group allegedly stole $3,650 in cosmetics from the CVS on Rock Road. The thefts happened on two separate occasions – May 19 and May 24.
Police say that a group of women loaded up bags with the items, while a man acted as a lookout for employees. The group allegedly left the store and loaded up their getaway vehicle with the merchandise and then returned five minutes later to do it again.
They say that the man returned to the store a third time to use the bathroom before escaping.
Authorities say that the alleged thieves used two getaway cars – a convertible white Chevrolet Camaro and what appears to be an older white Nissan Altima.
Anyone with information contact Glen Rock police at 201-670-3848.
