At MetLife Stadium, the Jets take on the Texans on Sunday, with parking lots opening early in the morning. The Giants are on home turf to face the Green Bay Packers on Monday. Daytime and overnight construction will cause lane closures on major roadways including Interstates 80 and 287, and U.S. Highways 1&9 and 46, as well as Marin Boulevard in Jersey City and Hoboken.

The Seton Hall Pirates have lost the Boardwalk Trophy after losing the Garden State Hardwood Classic 70-63 against their arch-rivals, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Track Opens Indoor Season with Some Solid Performances at Wesleyan
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The New Jersey City University men's and women's track & field squads kicked off their 2023-24 indoor seasons today, Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Wesleyan University Winter Invitational. Men's senior captain Jake Sisk (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) headlined the day by placing second overall in the 3,000-meter event with a time of 9:24.65, which places him third all-time in NJCU indoor program history in the event. For the women's side, senior captain Ayriana Young (Jersey City, N.J./McNair Academic) recorded a personal record in the 400-meter dash to place third out of 13 sprinters with a time of 1:04.01.

Bowling: Big North Preseason Tournament for the United Division Turns Into Big Win for Holy Angels
HACKENSACK, NJ - The Academy of the Holy Angels girls bowling team kicked off the season by dominating the Big North Conference Preseason Tournament and becoming the Girls Team Champions on December 6 as junior Rachel Stanbury came in first and sophomore Kaitlyn Zheng came in second in the Big United North Division Pre-Season Tournament. Stanbury kicked off her season by rolling a 168-203-180-551 series for first place and Zheng kicked off her first varsity season by rolling a 178-147-194-519 series for second place.
