STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Rowan University’s 4-by-200 relay of Nana Agyemang, Jah’mere Beasley, Evan Corcoran, and Amara Conte set a new school record (1:26.43) to lead the Profs to their eighth consecutive New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field title at the 2023 championship meet held at the Ocean Breeze complex here.

Rowan’s 4-by-400 relay also earned a title as Marquise Young, Jarquil Young, Masai Byrd and John Owens clocked a winning time of 3:20.07.

Marquise Young then won an NJAC individual title as he took the 60 hurdles with a PR time of 8.11 with Kwaku Nkrumah finishing second (8.22).

Shane Vostenak (15:12.34) captured the 5K in a personal-record time with Matthew Conway placing second (15:15.89), in his season-best time, as Rowan had four runners finish in the top eight.

Amara Conte captured a victory in the 400-meter dash completing the event in 48.15.

Justin Kelly won the NJAC title in the 3000-meter run after completing the event in 8:40:36 with Brandon Jarrett adding a second-place finish by clocking an 8:42:00.

Shamar Love placed second in the 60 meters with a season-best time (6.92).

Jake Kolodziej took second place in the 800-meter run finishing in 1:56:17 marking a new personal record.

Jah’mere Beasley (21.76) and Nana Agyemang (22.02) highlighted the 200-meter dash finishing in third and fourth place while Jacob Riley placed third in the one-mile run with a time of 4:15:44.

The men’s track team title is the sixth NJAC championship won by Rowan during this 2022-23 season of competition. The Profs previously captured championships in men’s cross country, volleyball, field hockey, men’s soccer and women’s soccer.
