GLASGOW – On Wednesday, The Glasgow Police Department responded to an injury accident at the intersection of North Jackson Highway and Country Club.
It was determined that a 2011 Chevy Impala being operated by Palmer Owens was traveling northbound on North Jackson Highway and had looked at her down at her phone for a brief moment and when she looked back up, Unit 2 was slowing to a stop and she was unable to avoid him, striking his motorcycle in the rear bumper area.
Unit 2 was a 2017 Indian Motorcycle being operated by Danny Young of Glasgow Ky. Young was transported to T J Samson Hospital by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS for his injuries. Owens was not injured.The accident was investigated by Officer Alex Mutter, assisted by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
