GILES COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Giles County Sheriff’s Office says a man has been arrested after a child was hospitalized with a head injury on Friday night. Around 10:49 a.m. on March 10, deputies received a 911 call in regard to a five-year-old who sustained a head injury with an edged weapon. Deputies and emergency responders immediately arrived at the scene and the child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
