GILES COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Friends and Family Restaurant, which was destroyed by a fire on Feb. 21, has given an update on the investigation as well as future plans. On March 22, Friends and Family Restaurant reported to their Facebook page that the investigation into the fire has wrapped up, and while it had not revealed the exact starting point for the fire, it had determined that it appears to have been started within a wall and then had spread to the attic.

Around 10:49 a.m. on March 10, deputies received a 911 call in regard to a five-year-old who sustained a head injury with an edged weapon.
