Savannah, Ga. (WJCL)- The first day of spring will be a cool one with highs well below the 71˚ average. There will be lots of sunshine today with afternoon temperatures in the upper-50s to near 60˚.
High pressure-system will build into the southeast for much of the workweek. There will be a quick moving system off the southeast that could give Coastal Georgia and Lowcountry a few spotty showers on Wednesday, but the chances are only 20%. Temperatures are going to be on a warming trend with highs by Thursday near 80˚.
A cold front will approach the area on Saturday. So, there is a chance for scattered showers on Saturday afternoon and dry on Sunday. Temperatures are going to be warm this weekend with highs in the upper-70s and lower-80s.
