THANKFULLY, NO INJURIES TO REPORT HERE. AT LEAST TWO FORMER EMPLOYEES AT THE STATE’S DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION NOW SUING THE STATE SUPERINTENDENT AND HIS POLICY ADVISOR. THEY CLAIM RYAN WALTERS AND MATT LANGSTON VIOLATED THE FIRST AMENDMENT BY FIRING THEM. LANGSTON SENT AN EMAIL EMPLOYEES CALLED A TRAP, THREATENING THEM OVER LEAKING INTERNAL DOCUMENTS. THOSE EMPLOYEES ARGUED THEY SHARED DOCUMENTS AS CONCERNED CITIZENS NOT IN THEIR OFFICIAL ROLE. ALL RIGHT. 655 ONE LAST LOOK AT WEATHER BEFORE Y’ALL HEAD OUT THE DOOR. YEAH, MOST OF US ARE DRY, BUT WE HAVE SOME RAIN CHANCES HERE. SO THE METRO LOOKING PRETTY QUIET HERE AS WE LOOK BACK TO THE WEST. THERE’S A LITTLE BIT OF LIGHT RAIN OUT NEAR ELK CITY. THEN SOME DECAYING THUNDERSTORMS IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE. THEY’RE FALLING APART WHEN THEY HIT WESTERN OKLAHOMA. BUT WE’LL PUT IN A 60% CHANCE FOR SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA THIS MORNING. 20% CHANCE FOR OKC. THEN LATER TODAY, 23% CHANCE. STILL VERY ICY RELATED CELLS. MOST OF US STAY DRY. THEN TONIGHT, HIGHER CHANCES OF RAIN COMING UP IN NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA. SO OKC HERE COMES A RAIN, 40% CHANCE TOMORROW, 70% CHANCE FRIDAY. FRIDAY GETS A RED PANEL. THAT IS A LOW RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER. NOW, FRIDAY, WE HAVE A FLOODING RISK FOR OKC AND SATURDAY, THE WEEKEND TO ME LOOKS VERY WET. YOU BETTER HAVE BACKUP PLANS OR AN UMBRELLA OR PONCHO OR ALL THE ABOVE. AND THE WET PATTERN WILL LINGER NEXT WEEK.
