The Corsair football team suffered a crushing 49-3 defeat at Eddie West Field in Santa Ana on Saturday against the Santa Ana College Dons. Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei junior linebacker Nasir Wyatt cut his list of schools to eight on Wednesday. Wyatt is the top player in the state in both the 247Sports Composite and Top247. He’s ranked the No. 20 player nationally in the Composite and a five-star prospect as well.
2024 AMA Supercross Championship Schedule
Feld Motor Sports Inc. has released the schedule for the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. As usual, the series will begin at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. The iconic Orange County venue has become synonymous with the start of the AMA Supercross season as The Big A has hosted 32 season openers—the most of any venue in the sport.

This Friday, Sept. 29, Mater Dei Football will take on its long-standing rival, Servite High School. The epic game will take place at the Santa Ana Bowl at 7:00PM. The Mater Dei Girls’ Cheer Team and the Mater Dei Marching Band will be performing there as well. All student tickets are free but you must get them from the GoFan website. The Los Alamitos High School Cross Country Team ran their third race of the season at The Chaffey HS Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 23. The Griffins raced against 18 teams from the surrounding area. The Griffin freshman, sophomore, and junior girls all came in first place. The boys freshman team came in second place missing out on first by only one point.

Biola comes to a standstill against Stanton
Biola men’s soccer (1-4-2) tied against the Stanton Elks (0-1-1) 1-1 on Wednesday night. Within the first five minutes, Stanton set up a goal as the ball was cleared from midfield. Biola goalie Nicholas Daniel stepped up to the edge of the box and prevented an early score. After a yellow card, Biola moved the ball downfield and midfielder Andrew Darke got a good shot at the goal but it was wide left.
