An Enid man accused of raping and murdering a toddler at a motel is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for a competency hearing. Enid Police said Michael Geiger kidnapped 2-year-old Caliyah Guyton at a motel while her family was asleep, and brought her to a nearby room and sexually assaulted her.

A man who had an active felony warrant out of New Mexico for his arrest, is now locked in the Garfield County Jail after leading Enid Police on a pursuit that at times reached speeds of 115 miles per hour.

FC)--A two-vehicle collision in Canadian County early Tuesday left an Enid woman dead and a local man critically injured. Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said 25 year-old Daniela Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. 27 year-old Jeremy Ramirez was transported by AirEvac to OU Medical Center in OKC where he was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk and leg injuries. According to the report, the crash occurred about 1:05 Tuesday morning on US 81 just north of NW 164th Street in El Reno. Authorities said Jeremy Ramirez was driving a 2004 Nissan 350Z. The second vehicle involved in the collision, a 2004 Jeep Liberty, was driven by 19-year-old Johnathan Byrd, of Norman. He was transported to OU Medical Center, where he was treated and released. There were three passengers, all of Norman, also in the Jeep when the collision happened. 32 year-old Tiffany Byrd, was transported to OU Medical C where she was admitted in good condition with leg injuries. 41-year-old James Bailey, was flown via AirEvac to OU Medical Center, where he was admitted in serious condition with head and internal injuries. A 12-year-old child, whose name was withheld in the report, was transported OU Children’s Hospital and admitted in good condition with head and internal injuries. The condition of both drivers as well as the details of the crash remain under investigation.

BD)--An Enid man is dead and a Fairview man is in Major County Jail after being arrested Monday on a murder complaint. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, 39 year-old Thomas Walker and his father went to Fairview Police Department to report Walker had been in an altercation with another person who was dead. According to the report, authorities found the body of 40 year-old Dennis Wilder at the location 3.5 miles west of Fairview where the dispute took place. Major County Sheriff’s Office called OSBI to help with the case. No additional information has been released.
