Media Release from Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
GALION—Early Saturday morning, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a crash on SR 61 north of Crawford Morrow Line Rd.
Initial investigation indicated a silver 2020 Honda Civic traveling northbound on SR 61. The Honda Civic went into the opposite lane of travel and struck a maroon 2022 Freightliner semi-truck.
The driver of the Honda Civic was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Galion Fire/EMS and Ronks Towing.
The crash remains under investigation, and no names of the involved parties are being released at this time.
