Survival, hope, and faith: An evening with freed Gaza hostage Judith Raanan

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Judith Raanan, 59, and her 18-year-old daughter Natalie, from Chicago, had traveled to Israel to celebrate the 85th birthday of Judith’s mother at Kibbutz Nahal Oz. On Simchat Torah, October 7th, they were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists. After a horrifying two weeks, they were the first to be released from the roughly 240 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Raanan will be sharing the story of her miraculous survival at 7:30 p.m. on April 15 at Chabad UF Jewish Student & Community Center (2021 NW 5 th Avenue).

Admission is free, and donations will be accepted. Refreshment will be served.
