Man accused of killing another man at Maine fair in 2021 to plead guilty to manslaughter

A man who stabbed another man to death at the Fryeburg Fair nearly two years ago will plead guilty to manslaughter. (WGME)
FRYEBURG (WGME) -- A man who reportedly stabbed another man to death at the Fryeburg Fair nearly two years ago will plead guilty to manslaughter.

In October of 2021, police say Carlos Negron stabbed 28-year-old Anderson Gomes to death. Both men were from Connecticut and both worked at the fair.
According to court papers, witnesses say Gomes was drunk and angry that he didn't get a ride back to Connecticut earlier in the day. Police say Negron stabbed Gomes to death.
Police found Gomes' body in a bathroom.

Negron is expected to plead guilty to manslaughter this Friday.
