Beer kegs are latest thing stolen from this Fresno restaurant and bar

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Rocket Dog Gourmet Brats and Brew has been the victim of multiple thefts over the past year, the latest theft saw numerous kegs of beer stolen and property damaged.

Surveillance footage shows someone backing up into the restaurant’s outdoor storage locker at around six in the morning on April 27.

The owner of Rocket Dog says in total, nine kegs were stolen and over $1,000 were lost.

This is the most recent break-in in a long series that dates back to May of 2023 when surveillance cameras caught a man breaking in and stealing the business’ electronics and tips.

Since then Rocket Dog has been changed ownership, but the break-ins stay the same. The restaurant’s new owner Brianna Sullivan says the struggle of being consistently targeted is a growing concern.

“I sell hot dogs, I sell affordable food. It takes a lot to make up for what I’ve paid out,” Sullivan said when Rocket Dog suffered from another break-in on Feb. 17.

Sullivan says the latest robbery involved a repeat offender and their accomplice and she urges anyone in the community with information to come forward and help stop the constant thefts.
