Man arrested following shooting Monday morning in Fresno

Fresno police arrested a man Monday morning after they say he fired shots at a vehicle in Fresno.

They say he shot at a woman driving a black Dodge van at California and Walnut Avenues near Fresno St.

The woman was not hit by bullets but was cut by flying glass.

Police put out a description of his car that was spotted by an officer a few miles away.

The officer started following the man and more officers arrived to stop the man at Elm and Hopkins in Easton.

He was taken into custody without incident.

It's unknown at this time why the man allegedly fired the shots but they believe it may be domestic violence.
