Those recently furloughed by Bitwise Industries will have access to a handful of resources from unemployment benefits to job placement services to assistance with healthcare.

On June 9, former Bitwise workers will be able to access resources made available through the City of Fresno and the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board.

The Rapid Response Services Orientation is available for all employees of Bitwise Industries. The one-day event will be offered at 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. at Workforce Connection, 1455 E. Shaw Ave.

Attendees can learn how to apply for unemployment benefits and State Training Benefits through the Employment Development Department; access helpful job database and utilize their computer centers through the Fresno County Library; as well as learn information about scholarships and job placement services through Workforce Connection.
