Emergency personnel declared the man dead at the scene.

Fresno police don't believe the disturbance was part of the ArtHop event that ended earlier in the evening.

Fulton St. remained closed overnight between Mariposa and Kern Streets and should reopen around 8:00 a.m. on Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno Police Department at (559) 621-7000.
