FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A woman was found shot to death Tuesday night in central Fresno.
Police say it happened around 11:00 p.m. at Tyler and Bond, near First St. and Olive Avenue.

When officers arrived they found the woman identified as 18-year-old Zoe Salinas in the passenger seat of a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers and paramedics performed life-saving measures, but Salinas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives learned that she was in the car with her boyfriend, 19-year-old Jose Gutierrez Contreras.
The two reportedly got into an argument and that's when police say he shot her and ran to a nearby residential neighborhood.
Officers eventually located and arrested Contreras.
They say he was still armed with a handgun when they took him into custody.

He will be booked into the Fresno County Jail on one count of murder.
A small candlelight vigil was held Wednesday evening in Fresno, in honor of Zoe Salinas.
