FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man is recovering in the hospital Sunday after he was found shot in northeast Fresno.

According to the Fresno Police Department, officers were called to Norwich Avenue and Angus Street around 8 p.m. after a Hispanic man was found shot.
Officers say that man is believed to be 26 years old and was found with a gunshot wound to his lower torso.
The Fresno Police Department says the man spoke with investigators prior to being taken to the hospital and the shooting remains under investigation.
