FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — May is National Mental Health Awareness Month.
The Fresno Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, also known as NAMI, is hosting a walk to raise awareness of and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
NAMI Fresno’s Acting Executive Director, Chris Roup, and Project Manager, Gordie Ochinero-Bermudez, visited Great Day to talk about this Saturday’s NAMI Walks Fresno event emceed by Justin Willis.
The event takes place Saturday, May 27th from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Woodward Park in Fresno.
