FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A central Fresno street, honeycombed with potholes for years has been patched up by city crews Thursday.
FOX26 News reported on this story Wednesday and showed just how difficult it is to drive down Thorne Ave.
Residents have complained for years but never got any satisfaction from Fresno City Hall.

But the complaints, for now, have come to a halt Wednesday night after the city said it would finally fix the never-ending pothole problem the following day.
Crews with the Public Works Department kept its promise that the road would be repaired and filled.
Our photojournalist John Dwelle took a drive down Thorne Ave. after the repairs. It may not be perfect but residents in the area will now have a smoother drive.
