FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A new monthly event is kicking off Thursday night in downtown Fresno.
The event will take place each month on the 4th Thursday beginning on March 23rd.
It's called Sip Hop and is happening at nearly 20 restaurants, bars, and breweries in downtown Fresno.
Among the participants are long-time downtown favorites like Tioga Sequoia Brewing Co., Full Circle Brewing Co., Modernist, and Quail State, plus newer establishments like 411 Rec Room, South of Shaw and Procreations Brewing Co.
With new bars and breweries currently in the works, the Sip Hop map is expected to grow in the coming months.

Sip Hop is created and organized by the Downtown Fresno Foundation, a non-profit arm of the Downtown Fresno Partnership, with a goal to increase awareness and appreciation for bars and breweries in the downtown triangle, all of which are small, locally owned businesses.
It’s a new iteration of the Downtown Ale Trail, now with a larger focus on bars and cocktails as well.
