FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Strong wind has trees falling left and right throughout Fresno.

According to the Fresno Fire Department, a large tree fell over and nearly crashed into a home by 4th Street and Ventura Avenue.
Officials say everyone in the home is safe and crews are currently assessing the situation.
Another tree toppled right over, this time in northwest Fresno, near the Fig Garden Loop.
One tree actually landed on top of a home, this one was near Cedar and Shields Avenues.
According to the National Weather Service Hanford, both thunderstorms and showers are possible sometime after 4 p.m. in Fresno.

The NWS also mentioned that wind gusts hit nearly 30 miles per hour Tuesday. Hold on to your hats, people! Literally!
