A homeowner was left with major damage Saturday night after a car drove through their home in Fresno.

According to the homeowner, the crash happened near McKinley and Millbrook around 9:30 p.m.

A family member was pinned inside the home following the crash, but they are said to be doing ok and walked away with some minor bruises and cuts.

"He was frantic, his voice was so high pitched I couldn't understand him but I finally made out that he was telling that a car had crashed into our home," said Nicole Cowing.

She said her son was home by himself playing video games when the yellow Camaro crashed into their home.

"I was like between the chair and the couch and I heard this big boom and I turned around and the next thing I knew there was dust everywhere," said Deshaun Lowe.

Lowe says his leg was pinned between the car bumper, a chair, and a couch. He said the people in the car jumped out, helped get his leg free then took off running down the street.

"I was just confused, hurt, sad just a whole lot of emotions," said Lowe.

Cowing said now she and her family no longer have a place to live.

"Our lives are displaced... we've paid 30 years on a home, and I'm homeless," she said.

Even though their family has lost everything material, she said she is just glad her son is still alive.

"My son could have died, he could have died," said Cowing. "There are so many things that go through your mind but always, always I believe my god keeps us all day."

The Cowing family said everything they own is in that home. Emergency crews advised the family not to go inside because it isn't safe.

The family has set up a gofundme to help them rebuild. If you would like to donate click: HERE
