Police have arrested the third and what they say is the final suspect in connection with a stabbing in Wheaton in August 2022. Rockville City Police arrested 30-year-old Jose Ingles Mendez, of Silver Spring, Maryland, on May 26. He is charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder, one count of first-degree assault and one count of second-degree assault. Ingles Mendez is currently being held without bond.

Police in Prince William County, Virginia, have identified a man suspected in last week’s shooting that left three men dead and a fourth man seriously wounded in Woodbridge. Police identified the suspected gunman as 28-year-old Donald Antonio Barahona Quinonez, in a news release Friday. They are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
