The Ladies Day Out Fellowship Luncheon Ministry met on Thursday, May 16, at The Restaurant 39, Henderson. They recognized Mother’s Day, Memorial Day and May birthdays. The group had three May birthday ladies. The ladies played Bible Trivia and other games, won prizes, sang songs, prayed, ate and fellowshipped one with another. Every lady in attendance received a Mother’s Day gift just for coming out and being there. Their next LDO Fellowship Luncheon Ministry will be Thursday, June 20, at Restaurant 39 in Henderson. Dump truck, SUV collide in Wake Forest, causing closure of Burlington Mills Road
WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — A roadway in Wake Forest is closed in both directions after a gray SUV slammed into the back of a dump truck. According to the Town of Wake Forest, the crash took place on Burlington Mills Road at approximately 11:40 a.m. The SUV ran into the dump truck after the driver of the truck pulled over and stopped “due to mechanical problems,” according to Bill Crabtree, the town’s director of communications.
