NWS: EF0 tornado touched down on SR 123, near Lebanon, Tuesday night
WARREN COUNTY, Ohio — The National Weather Service has classified one of the tornadoes that touched down in Warren County Tuesday night. According to NWS, an EF0 tornado on State Route 123, southeast of Lebanon, lasted a minute, from 10:14 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., with estimated maximum wind speed of 65 mph and a maximum path width of 50 yards.

Semi quiet weekend ahead, will it stay dry for Mother’s Day?
A quiet end to the work week, with a few clouds in the sky. Temperatures overnight will drop to around 50 degrees with intermittent clouds. Tomorrow we will see showers early in the day moving around at around 10 AM. Showers should generally be light in nature with a 1/4 inch of rain possible. Skies will be mostly sunny heading into the afternoon with a small chance of an isolated shower late in the afternoon. Dry for Mother’s Day with mostly sunny skies and a high of 70 degrees. Chances of showers return late Monday and heading into Tuesday with highs near the 80 degree mark. Cooling off into the middle of the week.
VFW Post 2800 holds community clean up
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A local nonprofit service organization spent the morning cleaning up in a part of Montgomery County. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2800 held a community service event on Saturday, May 11. Volunteers worked to clean up an area in Dayton by collecting garbage and painting over graffiti.
