COLUMBUS, Ohio — Western Kentucky’s first game against Ohio State football will feature a late afternoon kickoff at Ohio Stadium. The Sept. 9 game will kick off at 4 p.m. and be broadcast on Fox. Along with a noon kickoff on Sept. 9 against Youngstown State on BTN and a Sept. 23 night game at Notre Dame on NBC, the logistics are set for OSU’s non-conference schedule.

Typically, teams face off against smaller, non-conference programs to rack up a couple of easy wins, develop their skills and build confidence in their players. That’s certainly the case for these Kentucky teams, but there are a few ambitious games woven in as well.
