Charges against Franklin County dog owner certified by Grand Jury

The man confessed to shooting and killing the dogs earlier this year

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – The charges against Terry Michel, the dog owner who confessed to killing his dogs in Franklin County, will move forward.

A Grand Jury has determined there is enough evidence for Michel to stand trial.

As we’ve reported, Michel was denied bond twice after confessing to the killings earlier this year.

Michel originally reported the dogs missing in February, and both were found dead about a week later.

Michel’s next court date hasn’t been set.
