The Franklin County DUI Task Force set up a sobriety checkpoint ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, having checked more than 300 vehicles.
The checkpoint was set up on Westerville Road in Clinton Township, having operated between 8 p.m. Friday and 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Of the 329 vehicles checked at the checkpoint, 59 were diverted and 14 were impounded.
One person was arrested for OVI, while two were arrested on drug-related charges. Another two were taken into custody on misdemeanor warrants.
Officers issued 33 citations in total, 21 of which were for license violations.
A total of 923 cars passed through the area during the hours the checkpoint was set up.
The DUI Task Force is a program of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. It was first created in 1993 as the first county-wide DUI task force in the state.
