Okla. -- A Green Country dentist who’s also an OU fan is giving a brand new set of teeth to a fellow OU fan for free after seeing him being trolled online. Dentist Brett Francis, who’s originally from Collinsville but has a practice in Stroud, posted about it online and it went viral.

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Fort Hays State fell to a hot-shooting Rogers State squad 76-63 on Saturday at the Claremore Expocenter. The Hillcats hit 11 of their first 14 3-point attempts in the game, producing the most points in a game by a Tiger opponent this season so far. FHSU moved to 5-2 overall, 1-1 in the MIAA, while RSU improved to 3-2 overall, 2-0 in the MIAA.
Owasso amateur boxer to compete in U.S. Olympics Trials
OWASSO, Okla. — An amateur boxer from Owasso flew to Louisiana Friday to compete at U.S. Olympic Trials next week for a spot on Team USA. She picked up the sport as a way to stay in shape in her 20s and climbed the ranks once she started competing.

American Quarter Horses complete successful 2023 season at Will Rogers Downs
CLAREMORE, Okla. – Another year is in the books for the American Quarter Horse Association as the 2023 racing season has concluded at Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs. A total of 279 total races ran in 27 days . Of them, 54 were with mixed (Paint and Appaloosa) horses and 225 with Quarter Horses. The season concluded on November 19, with an improvement in average field size from 7.99 in 2022 to 8.22 in 2023 . The meet saw more than $5.2 million in wagers.
