(FOX40.COM) — Four people, all from Sacramento County, were arrested earlier in the week after Northern California police officers found them with over $5,000 worth of stolen merchandise.

The Lodi Police Department said the suspects, aged between 20 and 32, stole a large amount of beauty products from a CVS and Target in Lodi within one hour of each other before officers in unmarked cars pulled them over.

“A vehicle search revealed over $5,000 worth of stolen merchandise from CVS and Target,” Lodi police said. “In addition, officers located about $1,300 worth of stolen merchandise from two additional thefts that had not yet been reported.”

All four suspects were booked into jail on grand theft and conspiracy charges, police said.
