    Seller of stolen bike arrested after owner spots it being sold online

    (FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after he was allegedly selling a bike that was reported stolen.

    Officials said a Sacramento County resident discovered that her bike was missing and looked to Facebook to help retrieve it.

    The sheriff’s office said it was contacted by the woman after she noticed her bike being sold on Facebook marketplace.

    Deputies were able to set up a meeting with the seller and the woman was reunited with her bike.

    The suspected seller was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail, the sheriff’s office said.
