    Amber Alert canceled for two infants from Belton

    UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been canceled and the infants were located unharmed. The suspect is in custody.

    BELTON, Mo. — Law enforcement issued an Amber Alert on Sunday evening after two infants from Belton were abducted.

    Nine-month-olds, Iris and Halo Gannaway were abducted from 8201 Spring Valley Road in Belton. The vehicle they were abducted was traveling northbound on I-49 from Missouri 58.

    Both infants are girls and Black. Iris was wearing a blue shirt and no pants. She has a birthmark on her right leg and has brown hair and brown eyes.

    Halo was wearing an unknown colored shirt and no pants. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

    The vehicle involved in the abduction was silver 2016 Ford Fusion with the license plate reading TK7Z6U.

    The suspect is a Black male. He is now in custody.
