KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Clay County deputies have uncovered more explosive devices following the arrest of three people earlier this month.

Officers arrested Cory Young, Erika Lahr and Tammie Bindel Cole after they say they found large amounts of illegal explosives and drugs.

Some of the illegal items taken include pipe bombs and grenades inside a home near North Hickory Street and Northwest 64th Terrace.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office have now found a storage unit they say Young rented under a relative’s name.

Inside the unit, officers say they found 33 more homemade hand grenades, 19 guns and 32 cases of ammunition.

This on top of the large amount of illegal explosives and drugs found in the home back on Aug. 2.

Young, 46, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and child endangerment.

Lahr, 32, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, and child endangerment.

Cole, 52, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon.
