Woman released from Greeley jail still missing over a year later

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Deputies are still looking for Amber Dawn Williams, a 42-year-old woman who was released from jail in Greeley over a year ago and hasn’t been seen since.

On March 8, 2023, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said Williams was released from the Weld County Jail, just northeast of Poudre Ponds in Greeley. After she left, it took over a year before Williams became a missing persons case.

On April 25, Williams was reported missing with her last known whereabouts traced back to being released from jail. The sheriff’s office said it was unknown what direction she was going in or if she was on foot or in a vehicle.

Williams is described as:

• White
• Female
• 42 years old
• Hair color: Blonde/strawberry
• Eye color: Hazel/brown/green
• Height: 5 feet, 1 inch
• Weight: 100-122 lbs.
• Tattoos: Skull with roses on left forearms, star on shoulder, “Rose Amber” on left shoulder, clouds, stars, and flowers on neck, dead unicorn on upper left arm, water lily on right arm

Deputies said she might be in Estes Park or Greeley, and detectives do not believe she is missing under suspicious circumstances.
