Woman facing felony charges for deadly buggy crash appears in court
PRESTON, Minn. – One of the twin sisters facing felony charges for a fatal collision had her first court hearing Monday. Samantha Jo Petersen, 35 of Kellogg, is charged with 21 crimes for allegedly crashing her motor vehicle into an Amish buggy on September 25, 2023, killing two of the four children in the buggy.

Texas man dies after getting stuck in Wisconsin city's water tank
An El Paso, Texas man died after he became stuck in a municipal water tank in western Wisconsin as he was cleaning sediment from the tank, authorities said. Practice Makes Perfect
Firefighters from the Blair-Preston, Arcadia-Glencoe, Taylor and Independence fire departments all took part in a training to help put out fires caused by propane tanks. The Wisconsin Propane Education Research Council donated the training that was instructed by Fire LLC behind the Simmons Construction building in Blair.
