A wanted man is now behind bars in Fort Worth where police had been looking him.

Police had been seardhing for Jacoby Roberts since April when a man was gunned down at an apartment complex near I-20 and I-35W. Detectives learned that Roberts and the victim, Jailon Freeman, had quarreled just before Freeman was shot.

Roberts dropped out of sight but Fort Worth detectives believed he may have fled to Tulsa where he has ties.

As recently as last week, Tulsa police used social media to post a photo of Roberts and to ask for information about where he might be.

It's not known if that put the pressure on Roberts to turn himself in but he did just that in Fort Worth Wednesday.
