New TikTok challenge is concerning residents

Kicked in doors

LEO-CEDARVILLE, Ind (WFFT)--- Memorial Day weekend ended in a scare when a family woke up to find their front door had been kicked in over night.

When Loretta Passwater saw the door was not fully kicked in they took to Facebook.

Some neighbors suspected that it was part of a TikTok challenge.

Even if it is a joke, Passwater says it's still not safe.

"If it is kids, I just want them to know it's not safe to do that. Some people have big dogs and some people have guns... it might not end so well next time... if there is a next time I wouldn't want some to get hurt over a silly prank," Passwater said.

Another home in Fort Wayne also had its door kicked in during the weekend. 

While residents in the area said they don't feel worried about their safety so much, they do want you to keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior.
