'I can’t keep living like this': Treasure Coast apartment residents say rat problem out of control
FORT PIERCE, Fla. — Neighbors in a Treasure Coast apartment complex say nothing is being done about a rat infestation, which those neighbors say is out of control. Multiple residents at Orangewood Village Apartments in Fort Pierce say they have rats in every single one of their rooms, and they hear them in the walls, especially at night. They say the property managers are not doing anything to resolve this issue, and it’s nearly impossible to sleep.
