FORT CAMPBELL KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Just over 200 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) soldiers returned to Fort Campbell on Thursday. They were welcomed with cheers and applause from family and friends after a nine-month deployment supporting the security of U.S. NATO allies and partners in Europe.

The Screaming Eagles are part of the 1st Battalion, 502 Infantry Regiment, and the 39th Brigade Engineer Battalion. A color-uncasing ceremony was held for both units, marking the completion of a successful deployment for both battalions and their return home to Fort Campbell.
