Fort Bend County Pets Encourages Pet Fostering During Busy Summer Season

June 06 2023

It's National Foster a Pet Month, and Fort Bend County Pets - Fort Bend County Animal Services is encouraging pet fostering this June! YOU can foster a pet and save a life. There are numerous ways community members can foster that fit their lifestyle. Whether you can foster a puppy, kitten, adult, or senior pet for a day, a week, or a month, there is a pet fostering option that can work for you.

Fostering saves lives! FBCAS needs foster parents for the numerous pets that they are caring for during the busy summer months while FBCAS is inundated with pets. Fostering a shelter pet opens a space in their shelter to help another animal in need. Fostering also enables pets to get acclimated to life in a home and helps them become more adoptable, while helping FBCAS learn more about that pet.

With FBCAS's current space crisis, foster parents are desperately needed. FBCAS is most in need of dog fosters, but there are tons of other foster opportunities available! Learn more about fostering with FBCAS at www.fortbendcountypets.com or call 281-342-1512.
