The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Seven Generation Contractors, LLC, has joined as a new member.
According to information released by the chamber, the commercial concrete company is Native American-owned and founded by Brian C. Wilson, Jr., who opened the company in April of 2022.
As noted in the release, “The company is committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and top-quality concrete work for commercial, residential, and agricultural projects. As a member of the Indigenous Business Group (IBG), Seven Generation Contractors, LLC, focuses on business acquisition and mergers, aiming to drive economic growth within the Native American community.”
Wilson, a citizen of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, the released continued, “brings a deep understanding of cultural heritage and strong business acumen to the company’s operations.”
According to the release, the company offers a broad range of concrete services including footings, frost walls and flatwork.
The company provides a team of “skill professionals,” and recently achieved certification as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Department of Transportation, which, the release stated, “further strengthens their position to pursue commercial contracts at the state and federal levels and help build infrastructure to the 11 Sovereign Nations in the state of Wisconsin.”
The company, 419 ½ Foster St., Fort Atkinson, operates Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
