The Warren County Farmers Market is in full bloom
The market is offering a wide range of gardening supplies, including trellises, baskets, planters, landscaping plants, vegetable starters, potted flowers and cut flowers, potted herbs and more to help you start growing this spring. Pictured, a market shopper prepares to take home a handmade trellis from Dillard’s Creations. This Saturday, the Farmers Market will celebrate Strawberry Day. Our event features a lineup of local vendors, music, giveaways, and games. There will be free strawberry ice cream tastings. The market will also celebrate EMS week by providing the opportunity to meet local paramedics and learn about their life-saving work. The Warren County Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m.-noon each Saturday during the growing season in the parking lot of the Warren County Health Department, located at 544 W. Ridgeway St., Warrenton.

Lake Gaston Association hosts annual membership meeting on June 8
The Lake Gaston Association will hold its annual membership meeting on Saturday, June 8, at 9 a.m. at the Lake Gaston Baptist Church, 2378 Eaton Ferry Road, Littleton, North Carolina.
