Burger King's 3 Million-Dollar Whopper Finalists Are Here — and You Get to Pick the Winner

They're hitting participating BK locations in November.

In February, Burger King opened its first Million-Dollar Whopper contest, inviting fans to submit their ideas for the ultimate Whopper recipe. And now, the burger chain is finally ready for you to test out the three potential winners.

"After reviewing more than one million creative and mouthwatering submissions, Burger King and its team of flame-grilled experts have selected the three finalists," the brand shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine.

The burgers, which will be available in November at participating restaurants across the U.S., are truly a diverse selection, so you may want to buy all three to decide which one is your favorite.

The creations include the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, created by Fabian of California, which includes a quarter-pound "flame-grilled beef patty, topped with pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese — all on a toasted sesame seed bun."

Next up is the Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, created by Calvin of California, including that same beef patty, "topped with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions and jalapeños, maple bacon seasoning, bacon, and American cheese — all on a toasted sesame seed bun."

And finally, there's the Mexican Street Corn Whopper, with that beef patty "topped with street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, Southwest seasoned tortilla crisps, and Mexican spicy queso — all on a toasted sesame seed bun."

“The Million Dollar Whopper Contest was all about taking 'Have It Your Way' to the next level, and we were blown away by the thought and creativity that went into the Whopper creations that were submitted,” Pat O’Toole, the chief marketing officer at Burger King North America, added. “Selecting just three finalists was no easy task, but we’re confident guests will love these creative, delicious takes on the iconic Whopper sandwich, and can’t wait for them to be available in restaurants this fall.”

And once these burgers are in stores it will be up to you to decide their fate. Diners will get to vote on their favorite Million Dollar Whopper idea, and the finalist with the most votes wins the grand prize.  (The one caveat here is only those with a BK Royal Perks account will be able to vote.) However, the other two definitely get bragging rights for life.
